Professional Meeting. Nurses shall be allowed up to two (2) days leave without pay per anniversary year to attend professional association meetings, provided the number of nurses wishing to attend does not jeopardize staffing requirements or patient care in the judgment of the Employer.

Professional Meeting. The term “professional meeting” is defined to include those sessions conducted to develop the skills and qualifications of employees for the purpose of enhancingand upgrading the overall quality of patient care and hospital services. Professional Meeting. Teachers desiring to attend professional meetings shall submit their request to the building principal or the Superintendent at least ten (10) working days prior to the meeting, exceptions may be granted. Final approval or rejection of the request shall rest with the Superintendent. The Board of Education will help to defray the expenses for attending professional meetings related to the curricular program of the school as follows:
Professional Meeting. Employees are encouraged to attend professional meetings that contribute to the improvement of knowledge and skill directly related to their position with the Board. Upon approval of the superintendent, an employee shall be granted leave to attend or participate in professional activities which will enhance professional skills and qualifications. An employee shall be reimbursed for the actual expenditure up to the following rates: lodging, One Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($115.00); meals, Thirty-Five Dollars ($35.00); miles at the current IRS rate as of July 1st of each year; and toll charges. Receipts shall be submitted upon return of the employee and a typewritten report of the meeting attended within ten (10) days of return to the superintendent. Reimbursement shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of submission of the receipts.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Final Meeting The goal of this subtask is to complete the closeout of this Agreement. The Recipient shall: • Meet with Energy Commission staff to present project findings, conclusions, and recommendations. The final meeting must be completed during the closeout of this Agreement. This meeting will be attended by the Recipient and CAM, at a minimum. The meeting may occur in person or by electronic conferencing (e.g., WebEx), with approval of the CAM. The CAM will determine the appropriate meeting participants. o The administrative portion of the meeting will involve a discussion with the CAM and the CAO of the following Agreement closeout items:  Disposition of any state-owned equipment.  Need to file a Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statement (Form UCC-1) regarding the Energy Commission’s interest in patented technology.  The Energy Commission’s request for specific “generated” data (not already provided in Agreement products).  Need to document the Recipient’s disclosure of “subject inventions” developed under the Agreement.  “Surviving” Agreement provisions such as repayment provisions and confidential products.  Final invoicing and release of retention. • Prepare a Final Meeting Agreement Summary that documents any agreement made between the Recipient and Commission staff during the meeting.

  • Informal Meeting Before a formal hearing is conducted the University President or designee shall call a meeting with the charging party, the accused Bargaining Unit Faculty Member, and a representative of the AAUP-WSU. The purpose of this meeting shall be to attempt resolution of the matter through informal discussion. Additional meetings may occur provided the University President or designee and the Bargaining Unit Faculty Member being charged believe that further meetings will serve a useful purpose.

  • Meeting A copy of the decision shall be sent to the grievant and to the UFF grievance representative if the grievant elected self-representation or representation by legal counsel.

Assistance (exhibits, attendance, etc.) may be required for a formal public meeting/hearing associated with schematic approval work.

  • Required Meetings or Hearings Whenever any employee is required to appear before the Superintendent or his designee, Board or any committee, member, representative or agent thereof concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that employee in his office, position, or employment or the salary of any increments pertaining thereto, then he shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meetings or interview and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him and represent him during such meetings or interview.

  • Orientation Meeting Within thirty (30) calendar days from execution of the Contract, Vendor and Order Fulfillers will be required to attend an orientation meeting to discuss the content and procedures of the Contract to include reporting requirements. DIR, at its discretion, may waive the orientation requirement for Vendors who have previously held DIR contracts. The meeting will be held in the Austin, Texas area at a date and time mutually acceptable to DIR and the Vendor or by teleconference, at DIR’s discretion. DIR shall bear no cost for the time and travel of the Vendor or Order Fulfillers for attendance at the meeting.
