Common use of Professional Liability Clause in Contracts

Professional Liability. Consultant retained by City to provide the engineering services required by the Contract will maintain professional liability insurance covering errors and omissions arising out of the services performed by Consultant or any person employed by it, with an unimpaired limit of not less than $1,000,000 each claim and $1,000,000 all claims, or 10% of the construction budget, whichever is larger. In the event the insurance policy is written on a “claims made” basis, coverage shall extend for two (2) years past completion and acceptance of services as evidenced by annual certificates of insurance.
