Professional Growth Awards. I. An award of $250 a year will be paid for each ten (10) professional growth points earned.
Professional Growth Awards. 6 a. The Professional Growth Award is to be made on July 1 to qualifying 7 Employees. All classified Employees are eligible to participate in the Professional Growth plan.
Professional Growth Awards. Employees shall be eligible for a maximum of five (5) professional growth awards. Each award may be earned by successful completion of 15 semester units or equivalents from an accredited educational institution of higher learning (above grade 12). Units may also be accepted for professional/vocational courses related to the employee's job, however, adult education courses shall be excluded unless sufficiently related to improvement of job functions/performance. Fifteen (15) hours of class time is equivalent to one (1) semester unit.
Professional Growth Awards. 20.5.1 An employee shall be granted a Professional Growth award equivalent to a five (5) percent salary increment, upon successful completion of coursework as provided by this article.
