Professional Counselling. In the event an employee requires professional counselling following a traumatic and violent event in the workplace, Vancity will make counselling services available to the employee.

Professional Counselling. In the event of a robbery or holdup, professional counselling shall be available to employees suffering from post-traumatic stress through the Extended Benefits provisions of Article 17.1(b) or 17.7(d). Regular part-time employees working less than sixty (60) hours per month and casual employees suffering from post-traumatic stress shall have access to professional counselling, up to a maximum cost of two hundred dollars ($200) per employee per incident.

  • Professional Development 9.01 Continuous professional development is a hallmark of professional nursing practice. As a self-regulating profession, nursing recognizes the importance of maintaining a dynamic practice environment which includes ongoing learning, the maintenance of competence, career development, career counselling and succession planning.
