Professional Competency. A. The Consultant agrees that in the performance of these personal services, Consultant shall be responsible to the level of competency and shall use the same degree of skill and care presently maintained by other practicing professionals performing the same or similar types of work. For the purpose of this Agreement, the key person who will be performing most of the work hereunder shall be Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxxxx. However, nothing herein shall limit Consultant from using other qualified and competent members of his firm to perform the services required herein so long as they are working in a support role to Xx. Xxxxxxxxxxx.

Professional Competency. QUALIFICATIONS: Partner represents that it is familiar with the nature and extent of this Agreement, the Services, and any conditions that may affect its performance under this Agreement. Partner further represents that it is fully experienced and properly qualified, is in compliance with all applicable license requirements, and is equipped, organized, and financed to perform such Services. LEVEL OF CARE AND SKILL: Services provided by Partner will be performed in a manner consistent with that level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of Partner’s profession currently practicing in the same industry under similar conditions. Acceptance or approval by the City of Partner’s work will in no way relieve Partner of liability to the City for damages suffered or incurred arising from the failure of Partner to adhere to the aforesaid standard of professional competence.

  • Cultural Competence A. The CONTRACTOR shall participate in the State's efforts to promote the delivery of services in a culturally competent manner to all beneficiaries, including those with limited English proficiency and diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, disabilities, and regardless of gender, sexual orientation or gender identity. (42 C.F.R. § 438.206(c)(2).)

  • Cultural Competency 1. All program staff shall receive at least one (1) in-service training per year on some aspect of providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services. At least once per year and upon request, Contractor shall provide County with a schedule of in-service training(s) and a list of participants at each such training.

  • Competency Competency involves application of knowledge and skills to a limited range of tasks and roles. There is a specific range of contexts where the choice of actions is clear. The competencies are normally used within established routines, methods and procedures that are predictable. Judgments against established criteria may also be required.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.

  • Competence The Expert shall be deemed not to be an arbitrator. As a result, any applicable law or legislation with regard to arbitration shall not apply to the Expert’s appointment, opinion or the procedure according to which the Expert expresses its opinion.

  • Professional Service Consultant agrees that all services and work performed under this agreement will be accomplished in a professional manner, in accordance with the accepted standards of Contractor’s profession.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Competencies The following competencies apply to this position. The employee will be assessed against these as part of their annual performance and development review.

  • Professional Dress In as much as teachers are role models for students, each teacher shall maintain a neat, professional appearance appropriate for his/her specific teaching assignment.
