Professional Allowance Fund. On July 1st, 2014 and July 0xx, 0000, XX shall deposit the sum of $35,000 into a jointly administered fund to be known as the Professional Allowance Fund. Any interest earned on the money in the fund shall accrue to the fund and any money remaining in the fund at the end of the fiscal year shall stay in the fund for subsequent use of the fund.

Professional Allowance Fund. (a) A professional allowance fund will be provided annually by the Board and will be approved by the Divisional Chair of the member and the Academic Xxxx. Subject to overall budgetary considerations, the amount provided will recognize the special situation which exists at Algoma. This includes its geographical situation and the real necessity for faculty at a small institution to maintain scholarly contact with colleagues elsewhere. In general, therefore, the Board will seek to provide a higher travel allotment than might be customary in the Province and certainly one in keeping with other northern institutions.

The only customers who are exempt from paying the FUSC to CenturyLink are those reseller CLECs who themselves contribute to the FUSF, or who otherwise qualify for an exemption under the FCC’s universal service rules. In order to obtain an exemption from paying the FUSC to CenturyLink, CLEC must provide CenturyLink a signed statement certifying that it is reselling the services provided by CenturyLink in the form of telecommunications, and will, in fact, contribute directly to the FUSF. If CLEC does not provide this statement, or otherwise certify that it is exempt from remitting the FUSC, CenturyLink must report the revenues obtained from the provision of service to CLEC as End User revenues for purposes of calculating and reporting FUSC contributions, and CenturyLink shall be entitled to recover from CLEC the resulting FUSF contributions attributable to such revenues, in accordance with Applicable Law.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
