Common use of Probationary Period Clause in Contracts

Probationary Period. It is understood that all new employees will be subject to a probationary period of four hundred and eighty-eight (488) hours worked. The Employer may dismiss a probationary employee where the probationary employee is found to be unsuitable for continued employment in the position to which he/she has been appointed.
