Probationary and Casual Employees. Probationary and casual employees applying for posted positions shall be entitled to have their days of actual work for the Employer considered when evaluating their suitability for the position, although they have no seniority under this Article. After completion of the probationary period however, seniority shall be cumulative for the 24 month period immediately preceding the probationary period for the purpose of promotion.

If and when this period is completed, the full standard contribution rate shall apply. Contributions shall be calculated on the same basis as described in this Article.
