Previous Experience. 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.
Previous Experience. Persons who have previously worked for the Employer shall only have their recent service recognized for the purpose of setting their starting rate of pay but such time worked shall not contribute towards the completion of their probationary period. Recent experience shall be deemed to exist if the employee has not been out of the employ of the Employer for more than one (1) year.
Previous Experience. 45.01 Upon recruiting new (including previous) employees, the Employer agrees that previous comparable experience shall be taken into consideration and the commencing pay rate may be at any step in the range above the minimum.
Previous Experience. 30.01 Where a new employee does not qualify for portability of benefits under Article 29, the employer will recognize previous experience on the basis of one (1) year for every (1) one year of service within the last seven (7) years.
Previous Experience. 46.01 New employees who are employed for a regular position shall receive the following salary recognition for relevant nursing experience as determined by the Employer, provided not more than two (2) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained;
Previous Experience. The Employer will recognize the previous relevant experience of new employees when determining salary, provided not more than two (2) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained on the following basis: Regular Employees – One step on the increment scale for each year of relevant experience. Casual Employees – One step on the increment scale for each year of relevant experience to a maximum of Step 5 for RN’s and to a maximum of Step 3 for all other classifications.
Previous Experience. Where an employee being promoted has had previous applicable experience in a higher level job but was demoted for reasons other than cause or inability, a higher progression step than is indicated by the promotion rule may be chosen by the Company.
Previous Experience. A. Previous proven comparable experience within five (5 ) years from date of present employment shall be the basis for determina tion of an employee's rate of pay.

Previous Experience. Nurses shall receive credit for previous related experience on the basis of one annual increment for each year of experience, up to level 8 of the salary schedule. If a period of more than three (3) years has elapsed since the nurse has occupied a nursing position, then the number of increments to be paid, if any, shall be at the discretion of the Employer. The entitlement to the 2% increment for nurses with more than 25 years of experience, effective January 1st, 2007 will be based on a sworn statement of experience submitted by the nurse which includes the previous employers and the approximate date of hire and the last date of employment for each.
