President Release Time. The City agrees to provide the DSA President with 80 hours of release time each pay period. The DSA agrees that the start of the term of office for a newly elected DSA President will coincide with the start of a City pay period. The DSA President shall not be eligible for pay premiums or other special pays while on release time.
President Release Time. The District agrees to grant a leave time request for the President of the Kenai Peninsula Education Association for each year of the current contract, if requested. The President's release time shall be granted by the District, provided that the following conditions are met:
President Release Time. 44 45 The President of North Kitsap Education Association shall be granted release time up to one (1) school 46 year. The President of the Association will meet with the Superintendent or his/her designee to mutually 47 schedule the president's release time if less than a full school year. The purpose of such leaves shall be 1 for the improvement of employer-employee relations, as evidenced with time spent meeting or 2 conferencing with the employer and for the purpose of conducting Association business. 3 4 The Association will reimburse the employer on a monthly basis, the base salary and the employer's 5 payment toward the president's District paid benefits, based on the amount of release time provided. 6 7 Nothing in this agreement will detract or negate any and all rights and benefits that would have accrued 8 to the president had he/she been working on a full-time basis; i.e., experience increment advancement 9 on the salary schedule and seniority status. 10 11 Upon the termination of the president's release time, the president will return to working full time in 12 his/her current position held prior to taking release time, unless the position has been terminated. 13
President Release Time a. Release time from teaching duties will be granted to the president of the BVTU for the purpose of conducting BVTU business.
President Release Time. The Association President or designee shall be provided one (1) day per week of release time from August through May with no loss of salary or other benefits for the purpose of participating in and conducting Association business. To the extent practicable, a monthly meeting will be scheduled during this release time between the Association President or designee, and the Director of Human Resources. Negotiations may be scheduled on days that the Association President or designee is released. The district will cover the expense of two release days per month. RTA will offset the cost of any additional days beyond the two district provided days of President release time per month, by reimbursing the District the full cost of a substitute, if a substitute is provided.
President Release Time. The Association President and/or designee shall be released four (4) hours per week for the purpose of conducting Association business. There shall be no reduction in pay or benefits as a result of such release time. The Association will reimburse to the District an amount equal to four (4) hours times the base rate of pay for time spent in President release time. The Association President will give 24 hours notice for such leave, whenever possible.
President Release Time. The CVSTA President will be released from 40% of his/her assignment in order to participate in district/school meetings, educate/train staff, visit school sites, improve community relations, and perform other functions necessary for carrying out his/her duties.
President Release Time. It is acknowledged that the Union President shall be granted .5 release time for the RFT President for the purposes related to the conduct of bargaining unit business. Trial basis ‘24-’25 and ‘25-’26 school years. That .5 release time will be reimbursed by the Federation at the Category 3/Step 3 pay rate. The President will continue to accrue seniority based on the current assignment.
President Release Time. The CCA president will be provided release t ime in t he proport ion request ed by t he Associat ion. The Dist rict shall make salary and all ot her benef it payment s t o and on behalf of t he president on released t ime as if he/ she were not on released t ime, provided t hat t he Associat ion shall reimburse t he Dist rict for t hose salary and insurance cost s. Ret irement benefit s shall be in accordance wit h t he rules and regulat ions of t he Depart ment of Ret irement Syst em ( DRS) . The president shall be ret urned t o his/ her former posit ion upon complet ion of his/ her t erm of office. The president shall receive full experience credit s and all ot her cont ract ual benefit s, right s and responsibilit ies as provided by t he st at e and collect ive bargaining agreement . He/ she will also ret ain all seniorit y right s under t his cont ract for t he period of leave.
President Release Time. 1. The Association President shall be granted release time from his/her duties according to the provisions outlined in this Article. One of the purposes of said release shall be to collaborate with the Administration concerning issues of mutual concern involving the Board and the Association and to benefit both the Association and the Board by improving personnel relations. On or before March 1st, the Association shall notify the Board of its selection of option A, B or C below. The President shall remain on staff as an employee of the district and receive the full complement of sick leave, personal days and guide movement and all other terms and conditions as provided in the collective bargaining agreement. The Board shall provide health insurance coverage to the MTEA President during release leaves as stipulated under Article XI. The MTEA shall reimburse the Board for the President’s salary during any partial or full release periods.
