Preservation Planning. A. The City shall maintain a historic preservation plan that identifies priorities for survey, identification, and research, related to the Local Register of Historic Places (LR) and National Register (NR) nominations for Independence. The historic preservation plan, originally adopted in April 2000, will be updated at least every five years. Review and input by the Independence Heritage Commission as well as the public shall be an integral part of revisions and updates to the preservation plan.
Preservation Planning. The greater flexibility and simplified process of heritage resource management for undertakings afforded by the terms of this Agreement should provide measurable results in the advancement of historic preservation planning and compliance with responsibilities listed in Section 110 of NHPA. Such progress will be essential in demonstrating whether complimentary benefits are derived in exchange for a more simplified process for compliance with certain provisions of 36 CFR 800.
Preservation Planning. In return for the procedural flexibility that this Protocol provides in meeting 36 CFR § 800 responsibilities, the BLM commits to fulfill the responsibilities enumerated in Section 110 of the NHPA. The SD shall develop and implement a Historic Preservation Program (HPP) that (Appendix B) shall be appended as a Supplement to this Protocol using the process specified in Stipulation 16.3.   • Protection Planning Annually, sub-geographic area Unit Administrators will determine efficiencies to be gained from reciprocal assistance and acquisition of protection services. Operating plans will document decisions. Plans should be reviewed, and agreement reached concerning such items as placement of crews, engines, air tankers, helicopters, fixed and aerial detection, regulated use, closures and other joint fire suppression efforts.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Historic Preservation Subrecipient agrees to comply with the Historic Preservation requirements set forth in the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (16 U.S.C. 470) and the procedures set forth in 36 CFR 800, Protection of Historic Properties, insofar as they apply to the performance of this Contract. In general, this requires concurrence from the State Historic Preservation Officer for all rehabilitation and demolition of historic properties that are fifty years old or older or that are included on a Federal, State, or local historic property list.

  • Business Continuity Planning Supplier shall prepare and maintain at no additional cost to Buyer a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”). Upon written request of Buyer, Supplier shall provide a copy of Supplier’s BCP. The BCP shall be designed to ensure that Supplier can continue to provide the goods and/or services in accordance with this Order in the event of a disaster or other BCP-triggering event (as such events are defined in the applicable BCP). Supplier’s BCP shall, at a minimum, provide for: (a) the retention and retrieval of data and files; (b) obtaining resources necessary for recovery, (c) appropriate continuity plans to maintain adequate levels of staffing required to provide the goods and services during a disruptive event; (d) procedures to activate an immediate, orderly response to emergency situations; (e) procedures to address potential disruptions to Supplier’s supply chain; (f) a defined escalation process for notification of Buyer, within two (2) business days, in the event of a BCP-triggering event; and (g) training for key Supplier Personnel who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining Supplier’s continuity plans and records. Supplier shall maintain the BCP and test it at least annually or whenever there are material changes in Supplier’s operations, risks or business practices. Upon Xxxxx’s written and reasonable request, Supplier shall provide Buyer an executive summary of test results and a report of corrective actions (including the timing for implementation) to be taken to remedy any deficiencies identified by such testing. Upon Xxxxx’s request and with reasonable advance notice and conducted in such a manner as not to unduly interfere with Supplier’s operations, Supplier shall give Buyer and its designated agents access to Supplier’s designated representative(s) with detailed functional knowledge of Supplier’s BCP and relevant subject matter.

  • Discharge Planning If further care at home or in another facility is appropriate following discharge from the Hospital, Blue Shield will work with the Member, the attending Physician and the Hospital discharge planners to determine the most appropriate and cost effective way to provide this care.

  • WORK PRESERVATION For the purpose of preserving work and job opportunities for the employees covered by this Agreement, the signatory Employer agrees that no operation, work or services of the kind, nature or type covered by, or presently performed by, or hereafter assigned to, the collective bargaining unit by the signatory Employer will be subcontracted, transferred, leased, diverted, assigned or conveyed in full or in part (hereinafter referred to as “divert” or “subcontract”), by the Employer to any other plant, business, person, or non-unit employees, or to any other mode of operation, unless specifically provided and permitted in this Agreement. In addition, the signatory Employer agrees that it will not, as hereinafter set forth, subcontract or divert the work presently performed by, or hereafter assigned to, its employees to non-employee owner-operators or other business entities owned and/or controlled by the signatory Employer, or its parent, subsidiaries or affiliates.

  • Exit Planning 6. The Grant Recipient will, in conjunction with the Authority, maintain, and as necessary update, the Exit Plan throughout the Funding Period so that it can be implemented immediately, if required. From time-to-time either the Authority or the Grant Recipient may instigate a review of the Exit Plan.

  • Family Planning The MCO must ensure that its network includes sufficient family planning providers to ensure timely access to covered family planning services for enrollees. Although family planning services are included within the MCO’s list of covered benefits, Medicaid enrollees are entitled to obtain all Medicaid covered family planning services without prior authorization through any Medicaid provider, who will bill the MCO and be paid on a FFS basis.4 The MCO must give each enrollee, including adolescents, the opportunity to use his/her own primary care provider or go to any family planning center for family planning services without requiring a referral. The MCO must make a reasonable effort to Subcontract with all local family planning clinics and providers, including those funded by Title X of the Public Health Services Act, and must reimburse providers for all family planning services regardless of whether they are rendered by a participating or non-participating provider. Unless otherwise negotiated, the MCO must reimburse providers of family planning services at the Medicaid rate. The MCO may, however, at its discretion, impose a withhold on a contracted primary care provider for such family planning services. The MCO may require family planning providers to submit claims or reports in specified formats before reimbursing services. MCOs must provide their Medicaid enrollees with sufficient information to allow them to make an informed choice including: the types of family planning services available, their right to access these services in a timely and confidential manner, and their freedom to choose a qualified family planning provider both within and outside the MCO’s network of providers. In addition, MCOs must ensure that network procedures for accessing family planning services are convenient and easily comprehensible to enrollees. MCOs must also educate enrollees regarding the positive impact of coordinated care on their health outcomes, so enrollees will prefer to access in-network services or, if they should decide to see out-of-network providers, they will agree to the exchange of medical information between providers for better coordination of care. In addition, MCOs are required to provide timely reimbursement for out-of-network family planning and related STD services consistent with services covered in their contracts.
