Presented In Writing. The written grievance shall state the specific article and section of this Agreement alleged to have been violated, a brief set of facts and the relief requested. A grievance, as defined in this article, must be presented in writing on the form found at Appendix B of this Agreement. Employees shall have the right to file and resolve grievances with or without Union representation; however, the Union shall have the right to be present during the grievance procedure. The resolution of a grievance must conform to this Agreement and the Union shall be informed of such grievance and resolution. At any time prior to the filing of the grievance at Step 1, the grievant, the Union representative and the grievant's supervisor may meet to discuss the issues involved. Any resolution at this informal meeting shall not be precedential.
