Preliminary Budget Estimate. Concurrently with the delivery of the concept design, the Design-Builder shall submit a detailed cost estimate of the proposed design (such estimate, the “Preliminary Budget Estimate”). With regard to building systems (i.e. roofs, doors, HVAC, security, IT, etc.), the Preliminary Budget Estimate shall be prepared on a “system” basis that identifies the key building systems or functions and allocates an estimated cost for each such system. The Design-Build Fee, the cost of general conditions, and contingencies shall be broken out in separate line items. The primary purpose of the Preliminary Budget Estimate is to aid the Department and DPR in understanding the costs associated with key elements of the Project to better prioritize and manage the use of the funding allocated to this Project.

  • Preliminary Cost Estimates The Engineer shall develop a preliminary cost estimate using the Average Low Bid Unit Price. The Engineer shall estimate the total project cost including preliminary engineering, final engineering, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, environmental compliance and mitigation, construction, utility relocation, and construction engineering inspection (CEI).

  • Project Budget A Project Budget shall be prepared and maintained by Grantee. The Project Budget shall detail all costs for which the Grant will be used during each calendar month of the Term. The Project Budget must be approved in writing by the Project Monitor. Grantee shall carry out the Project and shall incur costs and make disbursements of funds provided hereunder by the Sponsor only in conformity with the Project Budget. The current approved Project Budget is contained in Attachment B. Said Project Budget may be revised from time to time, but no Project Budget or revision thereof shall be effective unless and until the same is approved in writing by Project Monitor. The funds granted under this Grant Contract cannot be used to supplant (replace) other existing funds.

  • Cost Estimates If this Agreement pertains to the design of a public works project, CONSULTANT shall submit estimates of probable construction costs at each phase of design submittal. If the total estimated construction cost at any submittal exceeds ten percent (10%) of CITY’s stated construction budget, CONSULTANT shall make recommendations to CITY for aligning the PROJECT design with the budget, incorporate CITY approved recommendations, and revise the design to meet the Project budget, at no additional cost to CITY.

  • Budget 1. The Grantee budget for grant activities for the 2022 Summer Program and State fiscal year 2023 is $766,874. Any funds received under this grant will not be used to supplant funds normally budgeted for programs or service of the same or similar type.

  • Budget Schedule Subrecipient agrees that the expenditures of any and all funds under this Contract will be in accordance with the Budget Schedule, a copy of which is attached hereto as Attachment C, and which by this reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
