Common use of Pregnancy Leave Clause in Contracts

Pregnancy Leave. 1. A pregnant employee who requests leave shall be given an unpaid leave of absence without loss of seniority or other privileges for a maximum of seventeen (17) weeks, up to eleven (11) weeks prior to the expected delivery date and at least six (6) weeks after the actual delivery date.
