Pre-Deprivation Hearing. If recommended discipline will result in a monetary damage including but not limited to suspension without pay, demotion or termination, the affected employee will have a pre-deprivation hearing within seven (7) working days of the receipt of the discipline recommendation. This hearing will take the place of the three (3) step grievance process and results in a scheduled meeting with the County Administrator or designee to present additional information and/or plead the discipline before the administrator. This process will subrogate only the three (3) step grievance process in regards to monetary damages resulting from discipline.

  • Arbitration Hearing An Arbitration Hearing will be held within thirty (30) days after the Administrative Conference if no discovery is taken, or within thirty (30) days after the close of discovery, unless all parties and the Panel agree to extend the Arbitration Hearing date, or unless the parties agree in writing to waive the Arbitration Hearing. The parties may mutually agree on the location of the Arbitration Hearing. If the parties fail to agree, the Arbitration Hearing shall be held in Chicago, Illinois, or at such other location determined by the Presiding Arbitrator to be most convenient to the participants.   • Attendance at Hearings A. Designated Union officials may be granted leave of absence without loss of wages, benefits or other privileges to attend hearings before the Legislature and State agencies concerning matters of importance to the Union and the Employer. Such leave will require prior approval of the CEO.

  • Board Hearing At the board hearing, evidence may be presented by the administration and the teacher, as to (a) whether a reduction in force is reasonably necessary and is being made in good faith and for the best interests of the District and (b) whether the recommendation to not renew the specific teacher is being made in good faith under this Reduction in Force Agreement.

  • Pre-Disciplinary Hearing ‌ When the COUNTY intends to take disciplinary action involving discharge or suspension, the COUNTY shall notify the non-probationary employee and the UNION in writing of the charges against the employee and the proposed disciplinary action and shall provide the employee with the opportunity to respond to the charges at a hearing with the supervisor or person having authority to impose the proposed disciplinary action. In the event this proceeding is recorded, the COUNTY will provide a copy of the recording and/or transcript to the UNION.

  • Hearing Protection Hearing protection devices that reduce noise exposure below 90 dba shall be worn in all posted high noise areas, when performing work that generates noise above 90 dba, or when required by CCI Management.

  • Fingerprinting of Employees The Fingerprinting/Criminal Background Investigation Certification must be completed and attached to this Agreement prior to Consultant’s performing of any portion of the Services.
