Common use of Power Tools Clause in Contracts

Power Tools. (h) All time spent by Employees travelling to and from distant work will be paid as if worked during the time the travel is taken. Where an Employee is specifically required to supply their own power tools (maximum of three commercial quality power tools plus a lead) by the Employer, the Employer will be responsible for all consumables and tagging and will replace all stolen tools if in an Employer lock up. Where the Employer requires the Employee to lend a power tool to another Employee, the Employer is deemed to have taken ownership of the tool and will replace the tool with a new tool of the same brand and model or an agreed alternative. The Employer will pay the rate per hour: as detailed in Clause 47 of this Agreement. Site Allowance A Site Allowance as detailed below will be paid as a flat amount for each hour worked and will remain unaltered for the duration of each project. At the commencement of any new project by the Employer the Employer will inform the relevant Employees of the value of the project. Where there is a dispute with the value of the project, the Qleave or NTBuild declaration of the "Total Cost of Work" will apply.
