Common use of Power to Contract for Services Clause in Contracts

Power to Contract for Services. In the administration of the Trust, the Trustee is empowered to employ oil and natural gas consultants (which may include the Independent Reserve Engineers), accountants (with the consent of Trustors, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed), attorneys (who may, but need not be, counsel to Trustors or any of their Affiliates) and other professional and expert Persons, to employ or contract for clerical and other administrative assistance (including assistance from Trustors or any of their Affiliates), to delegate to agents, employees, officers, directors, custodians or nominees (individually, an “Agent” and collectively, “Agents”) any matter, whether ministerial or discretionary, and to act through such Agents and to make payments of all fees for services or expenses in any manner thus incurred out of the Trust Estate.
