Power Outages. 42.01 Whenever an employee’s work cannot be reasonably carried out during their regular working hours by reason of power outage, the Employer shall either provide temporary heat and light arrangements or allow the employee leave of absence without loss of pay and benefits during the duration of the power outage. This Article shall not apply if the employee fails or refuses to report for work unless advised by the immediate supervisor or his/her designate not to report for work.
Power Outages. While Customer’s voice service may include a battery backup that provides a limited period of service in the event of a power outage, commercial power is necessary to provide uninterrupted service. Customer accepts and understands that Hosted Voice service will not allow calls to be placed or received, including calls to E911 assistance, in the event of a power outage and the battery power has been exhausted or is not functional.

If you receive your voice telephone service over the Internet (called “VoIP”) your telephone will not work and you will not be able to make emergency or “911” calls during the outage. SECURITY: While the Villa is in a very safe neighborhood, Guests are reminded to lock Villa windows and doors securely at all times when not on the premises and to keep valuables out of view. Owner/Manager assumes no liability for property loss or damages as a result of theft.
