Posting Vacancies. 1. Vacancies that occur in certified positions shall be posted online for not less than five (5) working days prior to their being filled or advertised outside the district. The five- (5) day posting requirement may be suspended by the Administration on June 1 each year. The five-day posting requirement shall resume on the first day of October.
Posting Vacancies a. Copies of all postings for vacant positions shall be forwarded at the time of posting to the Association president, School Administrative Officers, and Association staff representatives.
Posting Vacancies. 15.1 (a) All regular full-time vacancies will be posted the first Wednesday following the week during which the Board becomes aware that a vacancy will exist. In the event a Department decides to review its staffing requirements then the posting of the vacancies may be delayed. The Human Resources Department will notify the Union of the reasons for any delay and the expected length of the delay. The commencement date of the vacant position will be included on the posting.
Posting Vacancies. 13-14-1 The principal shall be responsible for notifying the Department of Human Resources of vacancies that are open at their school as soon as they are known.
Posting Vacancies. The following provisions apply only to position vacancies which are posted.
Posting Vacancies. (a) Notice of vacancies shall be posted within fourteen (14) calendar days of vacancy, in Human Resources. Applicants will have seven (7) calendar days to apply for such vacancy. Date of posting shall be entered on the notice when it is posted. All necessary details relevant to the vacancy shall be included in the notice. In so far as it is practicable to do so the vacancy will be filled within thirty
Posting Vacancies. Whenever any vacancy in any teacher or administrative position in the district shall occur, the Board shall publicize the same by giving written notice of such vacancy to the Association and providing for appropriate posting in every school building. No vacancy shall be filled, except in case of emergency upon a temporary basis, until such vacancy shall have been posted for at least seven (7) days. Administrative positions that are not being filled by a current administrator will be posted for at least three (3) days.
Posting Vacancies. Priority will be given to current qualified LSA members for LSA openings. All vacancies and new positions shall be posted for at least five (5) working days prior to having the position filled. All members of the bargaining unit on extended leave or layoff who so request of the Human Resources Office, shall be in- formed of each job posting. Job postings shall state duties, qualifications, hours, length of work year, level and classifica- tion for each position. Position and wages must be commensu- rate with classification as shown on the salary and classification schedule. All level one positions will be posted “In District” before substi- tutes and outside applicants are considered.
Posting Vacancies. It is agreed that before filling any position within the scope of this Agreement which may have a duration of thirty (30) days or more, excluding those positions wherein the employee of that position is on vacation for a period of, or in excess of, thirty (30) calendar days, notice thereof shall be posted in such places that will be accessible to all employees who may be affected or interested therein, for a period of seven (7) days before such a position is filled. Such posting to contain the following information:- Nature of position, required ability, and wage rate. The Employer agrees to forward a copy of such postings to the Union and to advise the Union of the name or names of the successful applicant(s).
Posting Vacancies. E.13.1 In this Article vacancy means a newly created position or an existing position to which a teacher is not assigned and which the Board considers necessary to fill. All teachers in the district are eligible to apply for all vacancies.
