Posting/Selection/Scheduling. The Employer shall prepare and post in each store a vacation schedule not later than January 15th of each year and such vacation schedule shall remain posted until March 1st for the purpose of enabling the employees to select their vacation period. Vacation periods shall be fixed by the Employer to suit the requirements of the business, but as far as possible and practicable, vacations will be given during the summer months (through October if requested by the employee), and for employees with school-age children during the school summer vacation. Vacation periods other than those listed above may be applied for to management and full consideration will be given to grant the request unless it has an adverse effect on the Employer's business. Vacation period shall be unbroken except by mutual consent between Employer and employee.

In scheduling a vacation of an employee, the Employer shall give as much notice as possible prior to the date of beginning the vacation but not less than thirty (30) days. Vacation period shall be unbroken except by mutual consent between Employer and employee. Vacation periods other than those listed above may be applied for to management and full consideration will be given to grant the request unless it has an adverse effect on the Employer’s business. The Employer shall be required to give vacation time off based on the number of weeks of vacation due the employee from the Employer and from the vacation trust fund. Within the limits set forth in this Paragraph, vacations shall be scheduled by seniority.

  • Vacation Scheduling (a) With the exception of authorized vacation carryover under Clause 18.6, the scheduling and completion of vacations shall be on a calendar-year basis.

  • Vacation Selection Beginning January 2 of each calendar year, employees will be scheduled a time, based on seniority, to select up to three (3) segments of available vacation leave during the time period of April 1 through March 31. A “segment” is one (1) or more contiguous days of vacation leave. No segment shall include more than ten (10) consecutive days of vacation leave in June, July, and/or August, provided that an employee may select contiguous segments of vacation leave. Each employee will be guaranteed one (1) scheduled workweek of vacation leave if requested as one of their segments. Off-shift times to select a vacation will not be considered as “time worked” for purposes of computing callback or overtime. If an employee is unable to be present during their scheduled time they may make their choice by telephone, email, or another individual with written documentation of designation, may select a vacation segment(s) for the employee. If the employee fails to select their vacation during their assigned time, the Employer may proceed with scheduling. The employee will be provided an opportunity to select their segment(s) at a later date when they are available. The Employer will publish the vacation schedule by March 1, after considering requests, as well as Agency program needs. Employees will complete a Leave Request Form no less than thirty (30) days prior to any approved vacation segment taken.

  • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • Panel Selection 1. The Parties shall apply the following procedures in selecting a Panel: (a) the Panel shall comprise 3 members; (b) within 15 days following the date of the establishment of the Panel, each Party shall nominate a Panelist; (c) the Parties shall endeavor

  • Vacation Scheduling for All Employees A. Vacation leave will be charged in the amount actually used by the employee.

  • ODUF Pack Rejection 6.4.1 Image Access will notify BellSouth within one (1) business day of rejected packs (via the mutually agreed medium). Packs could be rejected because of pack sequencing discrepancies or a critical edit failure on the Pack Header or Pack Trailer records (e.g., out-of-balance condition on grand totals, invalid data populated). Standard ATIS EMI error codes will be used. Image Access will not be required to return the actual rejected data to BellSouth. Rejected packs will be corrected and retransmitted to Image Access by BellSouth.

  • Scheduling Checkout Protocols 35.13.1.1 Both Parties shall require all transaction schedules to be tagged in accord with the NERC tagging standard. For reserve sharing and other emergency schedules that are not tagged, the Parties will enter manual schedules after the fact into their respective scheduling systems.
