Common use of Positions outside the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Positions outside the Bargaining Unit. (a) An employee who substitutes temporarily in a position outside the bargaining unit shall be covered by the collective agreement for the duration of the assignment. Bargaining unit employees shall be given the first opportunity to fill the resulting vacancy.

Positions outside the Bargaining Unit. (a) An employee who substitutes temporarily in a position outside the bargaining unit for a period not greater than three (3) months shall be covered by the collective agreement for the duration of the assignment. Bargaining unit employees shall be given the first opportunity to fill the resulting vacancy.
