Position Vacancy Announcements. Vacancies not staffed internally at a site and normally advertised outside the post and bid period may include Central Office Resource Teachers, In-School Resource Teachers, Elementary Counselors, Head Counselors, Secondary Counselors, Library Media Teachers, Senior Speech-Language Pathologists and School Psychologists, and Senior School Psychologists. Such vacancies may be posted for a minimum of ten (10) calendar days. Except for Central Office Resource Teacher positions, the District may interview and select the unit member to fill the posted vacancy from the five (5) unit members who have the greatest district seniority, have applied for the position, and have been deemed qualified by the Human Resource Services Division. Full-time District Counselor position vacancies assigned to two (2) or more work locations will be advertised; however, it is understood that the combination of work locations and the school calendar to which the position is assigned may change from year to year. The District shall advertise such positions through position vacancy announcements as they become available throughout the school year.

  • Vacancy Announcements (a) Announcement of employment opportunities must receive appropriate distribution to enable and encourage qualified candidates to apply. Announcements should be open for at least 2 weeks. In unusual circumstances, the Chief Administrative Officer or designee may shorten the 2-week announcement period. Announcements must contain specific information about examinations, minimum qualifications, duties and other relevant job factors. Length of County service (seniority) shall be considered when qualified candidates are otherwise deemed reasonably equal.

  • Vacancy Notification Interested employees may apply in writing to the Superintendent, or designee, within the posting period. The Employer shall notify employees who provide it with stamped, self-addressed envelopes of vacancies occurring during the summer months (June, July, and August).

  • Public Announcement Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the parties hereto shall consult with each other before issuing any press release or otherwise making any public statements with respect to this Agreement and shall not issue any such press release or make any such public statement prior to such consultation.

  • Petition for Annual Conference Session The Local Church acknowledges that pursuant to the governing standing rules of the Annual Conference, petitions for consideration of the legislative body must be submitted to the Secretary of the Annual Conference on or before April 1 of the current Annual Conference year. The Annual Conference will make reasonable efforts to assist the Local Church in completing the required petition, which will include this Disaffiliation Agreement as an attachment thereto making it subject to public review. If the petition is not filed in a timely manner, the Parties will make good faith efforts under the standing rules of the Annual Conference to cooperate to bring the petition to the legislative floor for consideration by appropriate motions to suspend the standing rules for the purposes of considering the petition.

  • Termination for Market Change (a) In the event of delay or interruption under B8.33, exceeding 90 days, and Contract has not been modified to include replacement timber, this contract may be terminated upon election and written notice by Purchaser, if (i) a rate redetermination for market change under B3.33 shows that the appraised weighted average Indicated Advertised Rate of all Included Timber remaining immediately prior to the delay or interruption has been reduced through a market change by an amount equal to or more than the the weighted average Current Contract Rate, or (ii) the appraised value of the remaining timber is insufficient to cover the adjusted base rates as determined under B3.33.

  • Annual Conference Vote This Disaffiliation Agreement must be “ratified by a simple majority of the members . . . present and voting” at a duly-called session of The Western North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, as required by Judicial Council Decision 1379 and ¶ 2529.1b(3)

  • Title the announcement Note: How and where the RFP is announced are at the Board’s sole discretion. The Board may want to announce the RFP during an open meeting, post it on the District’s website, mail or email it to local law firms, and/or place it in the local newspaper(s) or other legal publications. A directory of those lawyers belonging to the ICSA is on the IASB website, xxx.xxxx.xxx. A printed copy is available upon request. Inclusion in the directory does not represent an IASB endorsement.
