QUALIFICATIONS • Grade 12 education or equivalent • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide Program or Rehabilitation/ Recreation Program required • Certificate in Child and Youth Care an asset • Current certification from a recognized Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), or obtain within three (3) months of commencing employment • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training (to be obtained within three months of commencing employment) • Mental Health First Aid for Adults who Interact with Youth an asset • Valid Manitoba Class V driver’s license • Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet • Satisfactory employment record required • Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment Policy (HR-02-80.
