Common use of Political Activity Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Political Activity Prohibited. None of the funds provided under this contract shall be used for any partisan political activity, or to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office or ballot measure. However, no person engaged to perform such services pursuant to this contract shall be precluded from devoting income derived from such services to any lawful political activity, or to the support of a candidate for public office or of a ballot measure.
