Common use of Political Activities Clause in Contracts

Political Activities. All appointed officers and employees are subject to the provisions of Government Code Sections 3201 et seq. relating to political activities. Officers and employees whose principal employment is connected with an activity which is financed in whole or in part by loans or grants made by the United States or any Federal Agency are subject to the provisions of Sections 1501-1508, Xxxxx 0, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Code. Employees of Yuba County are further prohibited from using County work time, their own or that of other employees; County owned and controlled property; and or a County uniform for political activities.
