Police Service Representative. Effective the start of the payperiod following Council approval of this MOU, Management will provide to each employee in the class of Police Service Representative I, II, and III, Code 2207-1/2/3, a voucher in the amount of $325.00 for the purchase or replacement and/or additional uniform items, under the conditions listed below. The parties agree that for an employee to receive such a voucher, the employee shall have completed probation, or be on “independent status,” on July 1, 2007, as designated by the Commanding Officer of Communications Division of the Police Department. The uniform voucher shall be used by each employee at approved vendors for the acquisition and/or replacement of uniform items required or approved by the Police Department. The voucher may be negotiated only by the employee to whom it is issued. The uniform voucher shall be used prior to June 30, 2012, or it shall be deemed void and the benefits conferred thereunder waived by the employee. The voucher shall not be convertible into cash, and it shall be nontransferable, non-assignable and non- negotiable except as specifically provided for in this Article at the specified vendors.
