Common use of Plant varieties Clause in Contracts

Plant varieties. The Parties shall co-operate to promote and guarantee the protection of plant varieties based on the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV), as revised on March 19, 1991, including the optional exception to the breeder's right as referred to in Article 15(2) of the said Convention.

The Parties shall co-operate cooperate to promote and guarantee ensure the protection of plant varieties based on the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOVhereinafter referred to as "UPOV Convention"), as revised on 19 March 19, 19911991 (82), including the optional exception to the breeder's right of the breeder as referred to in Article 15(2) of the said such Convention.
