Plant Seniority. Plant seniority shall mean the employee's length of service with the Company at a given plant. Company seniority shall mean the employee's total length of service with the Company.
Plant Seniority. (1) An Employee shall, upon completion of the pro- bationary period, be entitled to plant seniority from the first day of the probationary period.
Plant Seniority. Employees shall be laid off in accordance with the principle of plant seniority irrespective of the group in which they are employed.
Plant Seniority. Employees who have been laid off shall be recalled in accordance with the principle of plant seniority.
Plant Seniority. The principle of plant seniority shall be recognized with respect to lay-off and recall of employees, subject to the following exceptions, terms, and conditions included in this Article. Employees who have been promoted to the position of supervisor and who are thereafter demoted from said position shall be deemed to have retained their plant seniority. A supervisor shall not retain their group seniority, nor shall they accrue plant seniority while occupying the position of supervisor.
Plant Seniority. The Company recognizes Plant seniority as the employee's length of continuous service from the last date of hire at the Plant, including service with NSA; for benefit accrual purposes only, the Company will recognize an employee's existing combined length of service from the last date of hire with NSA and other Southwire facilities.
Plant Seniority. The employee's plant seniority will commence the day he becomes a year-round employee. (Refer to 5.5)
Plant Seniority. Plant seniority shall be observed and determined by the most recent hiring date of each employee. In cases where two or more employees are hired the same day, seniority is established at time of hire by alphabetical order of the last name.
Plant Seniority. All time an employee has been employed at the East --------------- River Plant without a break as defined below.
