Planned Overtime. In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties. Planned Overtime. 1. Where management anticipates there will be a need to work overtime in the future, management will solicit volunteers by use of a signup sheet posted on the bulletin board.
Planned Overtime. (a) When management determines there is a need for overtime that management knows must be worked the following day and/or beyond, management will use the voluntary overtime list and offer the overtime opportunity to Food Service Coordinators on a rotating basis based on seniority which shall be defined as Agency time in classification. Management will offer the overtime work to the most senior Food Service Coordinator on the list first (1st).
Planned Overtime. When planned overtime is worked on an employee's regular days off or at 6:00AM or later as described in Clause 12.2 (1), the employee is expected to provide the meal for the first normal meal break normally at the end of a five (5) hour period actually worked. However, under no circumstances will an employee be required to carry lunches for two consecutive meals. If a meal is provided by the company, employees will not receive a meal chit.

Planned Overtime. The group concerned will be assigned to planned overtime first, beginning with the lowest qualified ML4 and continuing as above until all personnel in the group have been assigned. When additional personnel are required, they will be assigned from the Central Maintenance group by assigning the lowest qualified employee first, and so on until the job is properly staffed. When out-of-classification work in the Automotive Shop must be offered to mechanics, and it is known by 2:00 p.m. the day before the work is assigned, the Company agrees to offer the work to the junior qualified employee(s) at the time the work is offered. There may be some instances when special skills are involved and would preclude following this procedure. Such cases will be discussed with appropriate Union Officials. It is understood and agreed that this arrangement will not be extended to other jobs or work assignments.
Planned Overtime. The company will provide as much notice as possible to employees when overtime is required. The minimum notice period is 48 hours. The employee and his/her supervisor may mutually agree to a shorter notice period. Overtime that is a continuation of the day stays with the employee or crew and is not distributed to other employees on the master list(s). In the case of emergency overtime, employees may request relief. Relief will be provided from the on-call list. Employees will indicate on an annual basis their willingness to work planned overtime. In the event there are insufficient employees who volunteer for the planned overtime, and once the planned overtime list has been exhausted, then employees will be required to work planned overtime in reverse order of seniority subject to equitable distribution. Planned Overtime. Planned overtime is time worked in excess of seven hours in a work day which is scheduled in advance and is pre-approved by the employee’s supervisor or designate. Such overtime shall be compensated as compensatory time at one (1) hour for one (1) hour basis to be taken off at a mutually agreeable time as outlined in Article 18.02.
Planned Overtime. To the extent possible, in accordance with the provisions of section E.1., planned overtime shall be offered to the most senior employee, then the next most senior and so on, until all employees in the shop or work location have been offered overtime, at which time, the most senior employee is again offered an overtime assignment. For the purpose of this section, seniority shall be based on the employee's time in the classification in a shop or work location.
Planned Overtime. Notwithstanding (b) above, overtime in the form of an additional shift(s), shall be posted on the bulletin board for each classification where overtime will be required primarily, and any secondary classifications where overtime may be required if the primary requirement is not filled. Volunteers must sign the overtime sheet not later than 8:00 a.m. Wednesday in order to be considered for the upcoming week. The senior employee(s) qualified to perform the work of the primary overtime requirement will be selected for the overtime. Should there be an insufficient number of volunteers for the primary overtime requirement, then the secondary overtime requirement will be filled by the senior employee(s) qualified to perform the work.
