Plan Coverage Clause Examples

The Plan Coverage clause defines the specific benefits, services, or protections that are included under an insurance policy, employee benefit plan, or similar agreement. It typically outlines what types of incidents, treatments, or situations are covered, any applicable limits or exclusions, and the conditions under which coverage applies. For example, it may specify that certain medical procedures are included while others are not, or set annual maximums for reimbursement. The core function of this clause is to clearly delineate the scope of protection provided, ensuring both parties understand what is and is not covered, thereby reducing disputes and misunderstandings.
