Placement of Teachers. No later than October 15 of each year, the District shall furnish the Association with the placement of teachers on the salary schedule as of October 1 of that year.
Placement of Teachers. 1. The salary schedule has been compressed therefore steps do not necessarily represent years of experience. Initial placement of a teacher entering the Telluride School District will be determined by the Principal or Superintendent. Teachers new to the district will be placed on the salary matrix based upon their verifiable years of prior teaching experience up to a maximum of 15 years. In no instance shall new teachers entering the District be placed higher than their verifiable years of prior teaching experience.

The Superintendent of Schools will be responsible for evaluating and crediting of past experience, service and training and determining the placement of new teachers and temporary teachers who transfer to permanent positions. The Superintendent of Schools will be fair and equitable in exercising his/her authority under this provision.
Placement of Teachers. 21.15 Placement of surplus teachers shall be made at a meeting subsequent to the Transfer Meeting. This meeting shall include representatives from the Human Resources Department, the members of the Joint Secondary Staffing Review Committee and the Principals.
Placement of Teachers. 10.14 (a) Following the meeting pursuant to Article 10.11, all vacancies and term positions which are or that become available shall be filled as one (1) year only positions by the Board in the order and manner below provided the teacher is qualified for the position. However, if a term teacher pursuant to Article 10.14 (vi) (a) accepts a position that was available as a permanent vacancy in the final round of postings and at the meeting pursuant to Article 10.11, the Board may offer that term teacher a probationary contract, and the position shall be considered to be filled on a permanent basis provided the teaching assignment does not substantially change for the ensuing school year. No term teacher will be offered a probationary contract pursuant to this clause unless all Term II and Aggregate Teachers have received probationary contracts for the ensuing school year.
Placement of Teachers. The placement of teachers will occur in the following order prior to vacancy postings once the District has determined the staffing needs have been met with existing staff in schools and/or District programs.

The District’s Human Resources Division and Office of Language Acquisition will work with the Consultant to arrange placement of Mandarin Language Teaching Assistants at District school sites which have requested Mandarin Language Teaching Assistants be placed at their site(s). PS19-0677-08 Consultant will ensure that all Mandarin Language Teaching Assistants submit proof of a tuberculosis test and obtain fingerprint background clearance through the Human Resources Services Division. These clearances must be maintained per District and state requirements. Mandarin teachers are responsible for the costs of the TB testing and fingerprint clearance.
Placement of Teachers. L23.16 The Committee or designate(s) shall place any remaining surplus Teachers and Teachers returning from an extended Leave of Absence in accordance with Article L26.49 and place any remaining part-time Teachers seeking increased time in accordance with Article L26.52.
