Picket Line Clause. It shall not be construed to be a violation of the Agree­ ment for an employee to refuse to cross a picket line of a striking or locked out Union.

Picket Line Clause. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement, and it shall not be cause for discharge or disciplinary action, in the event an employee refuses to enter upon any property involved in a primary labor dispute, or refuses to go through or work behind any primary picket line, including the primary picket line of the Union party to this Agreement, and including primary picket lines at the Employer’s own places of business or jobs.

No one will be hired by an Employer prior to placing his employees who are honoring a picket line.

Picket Line Clause. Employees covered by this Agreement shall have the right to respect any legal primary picket line validly established by any bona fide Labor Organization, and the Union party to this Agreement has the right to withdraw Employees covered by this Agreement whenever the Employer party to the Agreement is involved in a legitimate primary labor dispute with any bona fide Labor Organization.
Picket Line Clause. No employee shall refuse to cross a picket line at a customer’s establishment. Any such refusal will be considered a gross insubordination and grounds for immediate discharge unless the employee is threatened with physical harm for doing so.

Bereavement All full-time and part-time employees on the seniority list shall be entitled to up to a maximum of two (2) days of leave with pay, in the event of a death of a brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law or non-dependent child. Such employees shall be entitled up to a maximum of three (3) days leave with pay in the event of a death of a dependent child and up to a maximum of four (4) days of leave with pay in the event of a death of a spouse or parent. Paid leave for days lost from work for bereavement shall, except in the case of leaves for spouse or parent, be the day of burial and the day or days preceding such burial. Bereaved employees may take part of their paid bereave­ ment leave for travel time for out of town burials. Part-time employees shall not have their days resched­ uled so as to defeat their paid bereavement leave. Bereaved employees shall receive pay for scheduled hours lost to a maximum of eight (8) hours per day or ten (10) hours per day for a full-time employee on the four (4) ten (10) hour work week.
