Physical Fitness New Employees. New employees are required to file a medical examination report with the Director of Health Services before reporting for duty in the Des Moines schools. The employee must pay the cost of this examination given by a physician of his/her choice and reported on the form provided by the Employer.
Physical Fitness Program 42.1 The Joint Labor/Management Physical Fitness Committee consisting of four (4) members, two (2) appointed by the Chief of Department and two (2) appointed by the Union shall develop a physical fitness program for the Department to maintain and improve the health and fitness of members and reduce injuries. The employees appointed by the Union shall receive reasonable time off without loss of compensation or other benefits for the purpose of participating in meetings of the Joint Labor/Management Physical Fitness Committee.
Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.
MEDICAL FITNESS 12:01 The Employer may require an employee to have a psychiatric examination and/or a physical examination by a duly qualified medical practitioner acceptable to the Employer.
Security Awareness Training 1. The Contractor’s employees, Subcontractors/Vendors, and volunteers handling confidential, sensitive and/or personal identifying information must complete the required CDA Security Awareness Training module located at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xx.xxx/ProgramsProviders/#Resources within thirty (30) days of the start date of the Contract/Agreement, within thirty (30) days of the start date of any new employee, Subcontractor, Vendor or volunteer’s employment and annually thereafter.
First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.
Annual Physical Examination A permanent employee shall be granted up to one day per year with pay for the purpose of a comprehensive physical examination provided that the verification of such an examination is submitted to the District.
Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:
Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.
Annual Physical The Executive may, if the Executive so elects, within the twelve (12) months following the Date of Termination, receive an annual physical at the Company’s expense consistent with the physical provided under, and subject to the requirements of, the Company’s annual physical program as in effect immediately prior to the Date of Termination.
