PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EXAMINATIONS. A. The Employer may require employees to have a physical and/or mental examination, test, or any procedure, conducted by a physician appointed by the Employer, to determine the employee's capability of performing the duties of his/her position, when the Employer has reason to question the employee's capability of performing the duties of his/her position. If the Employer requires such an examination, the Employer will pay for it.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EXAMINATIONS. A. The OCFT recognizes the necessity for competence in the classroom and shall support efforts to insure educational excellence to the children of this district.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EXAMINATIONS. The Administrator agrees to submit to a comprehensive physical and/or mental examination at District Expense by a profession(s) of the District's choice when, in the Board's judgment, such examination is necessary to determine: if the Administrator can perform the essential functions of his job; the accommodations necessary to permit him to perform the essential functions of his job; or, is otherwise consistent with business necessity. In connection with such a physical and/or mental examination, the Administrator will sign all requested release forms and other documents necessary to permit the designated professional(s) and the District to receive pertinent medical records and reports.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EXAMINATIONS. 12.1 At least once every four (4) years, each employee shall undergo tuberculosis risk assessment. If there are risk factors identified by way of the assessment an examination will be required which shall consist of either an approved intradermal tuberculin test or any other test for tuberculosis infection that is recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Infection. As a condition of continuing employment, employee must be free of such disease.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EXAMINATIONS. The Superintendent shall submit to such medical examinations, supply such information and execute such documents as may be required by any underwriter, policyholder or third-party providing insurance programs specified under this Contract. Additionally, upon request of the Board, the Superintendent shall authorize the release of medical information necessary to determine if she is capable of performing the essential job functions required by her assignment, with or without reasonable job accommodation(s). Any physical or mental examination or disclosure of such information required of the Superintendent by the Board shall be job related and consistent with business necessity. Any information obtained from medical or psychological examinations or inquiries shall be considered and treated as confidential.

The Town shall have the option of requiring at the Town’s expense physical screening or examination for all bargaining unit employees whenever the Chief of Police has a question concerning that employee’s fitness for duty. The Town has the sole discretion to determine the nature of the screening to be provided. Any employee evaluated under this Article must agree to release to the Town a comprehensive opinion as to fitness for duty.

  • Physical Examinations Where the Employer requires an employee to take a physical examination, doctor's fees for such examination shall be paid by the Employer. Except prior to commencement of employment and the first four (4) weeks of employment, such examinations shall be taken during the employee's working hours without loss of pay to the employee.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.

  • Physical Examination The Employer, at its own expense, shall have the right and be given the opportunity to have a medical doctor appointed by the Employer examine, as often as it may reasonably require, any employee whose injury, sickness, mental or nervous disorder is the basis of claim upon this Plan.

Additionally, written results of an industrial hygiene measurements or investigations related to an employee's occupational exposure will also be provided, upon request, to the employee or the employee's authorized representative. The Union and/or members of the applicable Health and Safety Committee will be provided copies of summary reports, but such reports will not contain personally identifying information.

  • Annual Physical Examination A permanent employee shall be granted up to one day per year with pay for the purpose of a comprehensive physical examination provided that the verification of such an examination is submitted to the District.

  • Tax Examinations Abroad 1. A Contracting Party may allow representatives of the competent authority of the other Contracting Party to enter the territory of the first-mentioned Party to interview individuals and examine records with the written consent of the persons concerned. The competent authority of the second-mentioned Party shall notify the competent authority of the first-mentioned Party of the time and place of the meeting with the individuals concerned.

  • Health Examination 27-1 When the District determines that a MBU's health condition (mental or physical) may be impairing his/her job performance, the immediate supervisor, site administrator, or Regional Assistant Superintendent, with the concurrence of the Human Resources Department may, with just cause, direct the MBU to have a health examination at District expense. The MBU will be given a copy of the directive which will state the reason(s) for such examination. Following the examination, results will be sent by the Human Resources Department to the MBU and immediate supervisor. All communication which results from the implementation of this Article shall be handled in a confidential manner. ARTICLE TWENTY-EIGHT
