Phase Change Temperature Range Sample Clauses

Phase Change Temperature Range. Figure 3-1 Operating Temperature Range of LHTES With the defined operating temperature (46-72°C) where the charge is performed with inlet warm HTF at 72°C and the discharge is performed with inlet cold HTF at 46°C as shown in Figure 3-1, a number of commercial PCM candidates with a melting temperature of around 60°C have been tested with T-history methods. The properties of these PCMs as provided by the suppliers are presented in Table 1. The datasheets are provided in appendices3. Table 1 Performance Characteristics of PCMs per Suppliers 3 Datasheets of these materials are provided in the appendix 1. The values provided by the suppliers were mainly obtained with Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), with which only a small sample size can be tested (<50 mL). T-history method with a larger sample size is deemed to provide more realistic application behaviour. All these shortlisted PCMs were heated and cooled for five cycles in the ACS Hygross 1200 climate chamber4. The resulting enthalpy versus temperature graph was obtained as shown in Figure 3-2 . Figure 3-2 Enthalpy vs Temperature from T-History; (a) Heating cycle and (b) Cooling cycle Both Axiotherm-58 and SunAmp-58 show instability and uncertainty during different heating and cooling cycles. RT-64HC phase change temperature range is slightly higher than required and it seems to be non- homogeneous because of two sets of phase changes that are undesirable for the current application. Comparing RT-62HC and Crodatherm-60, Crodatherm-60 has higher enthalpy change and there is no significant super- cooling in case of Crodatherm-60. Moreover, heat conductivity and specific heat capacity of Crodatherm-60 are slightly higher (0.29 W/m.K, 2.3 kJ/(kg∙K)) as compared to RT-62HC (0.2 W/m.K, 2 kJ/(kg∙K)). Crodatherm-60 has thus been selected as the heat storage material in the validation-site LHTES unit for its better thermo-physical properties. The properties are shown in Table 2. Table 2 Thermal Properties of Crodatherm-60 Thermal Parameters Value Peak melting/solidification temperature [°C] 60 Density: solid (55 °C) [kg/m3] 922 Density: liquid (65 °C) [kg/m3] 824 Enthalpy change from 45 to 72 °C [kJ/kg] (T-History) 310 Thermal conductivity: solid [W/(m·K)] 0.29 Thermal conductivity: liquid [W/(m·K)] 0.17 CrodaTherm 60 is a water insoluble organic phase change material derived from plant-based feedstock (100% biobased). It is expected to be readily biodegradable and received the (U.S. Department of Agricultur...

  • Temperature Where low temperature and/or self-service cases are used for any of such merchandise coming under the jurisdiction of the Union, such cases shall be served only by employees covered by this Agreement.

  • Project Specific Milestones In addition to the milestones stated in Section 212.5 of the Tariff, as applicable, during the term of this ISA, Interconnection Customer shall ensure that it meets each of the following development milestones:

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point Xxxxxx. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.

  • Project/Milestones Taxpayer develops and manufactures various products for use in the defense, aerospace and security industries. In consideration for the Credit, Taxpayer agrees to expand its operations at various locations throughout California, including El Segundo, Redondo Beach, Palmdale, Sunnyvale, Woodland Hills, Azusa and Rancho Xxxxxxxx. As part of its expansion, Taxpayer will invest in manufacturing equipment, computer and electrical equipment and make tenant improvements to the above facilities. Additionally, Taxpayer will hire full-time employees as part of its expansion (collectively, the “Project”). Further, Taxpayer agrees to satisfy the milestones as described in Exhibit “A” (“Milestones”) and must maintain Milestones for a minimum of three (3) taxable years thereafter. In the event Taxpayer employs more than the number of Full- time employees, determined on an annual full-time equivalent basis, than required in Exhibit A, for purposes of satisfying the “Minimum Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired” and the “Cumulative Average Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired,” Taxpayer may use the salaries of any of the Full-time employees hired and retained within the required time period. For purposes of calculating the “Minimum Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired” and the “Cumulative Average Annual Salary of California Full-time Employees Hired,” the salary of any full-time employee that is not employed by the taxpayer for the entire taxable year shall be annualized. In addition, Xxxxxxxx agrees that any full-time employee hired after the effective date of this agreement that is a “qualified full-time employee” (as defined in RTC section 23636) shall be excluded from the calculation of the net increase of full-time employees required by this Agreement if Taxpayer claims the credit allowed by RTC section 23636.

  • Configuration The configuration for the Purchase Right Aircraft will be the Detail Specification for Model 767-3S2F aircraft at the revision level in effect at the time of the Supplemental Agreement. Such Detail Specification will be revised to include (i) changes required to obtain required regulatory certificates and (ii) other changes as mutually agreed upon by Boeing and Customer.

  • Health plan specification The Employer will require health plans participating in the Group Insurance Program to develop and implement health promotion and health education programs for State employees and their dependents.

  • Laboratory Testing All laboratories selected by UPS Freight for analyzing Controlled Substances Testing will be HHS certified.

  • Critical Milestones (a) Subject to the provisions of Section 3.1(c), commencing on the Effective Date, Seller shall develop the Facility in order to achieve the following milestones (“Critical Milestones”) on or before the date set forth in this Section 3.1(a):

  • Emergency Mode Operation Plan Contractor must establish a documented plan to enable continuation of critical business processes and protection of the security of electronic DHCS PHI or PI in the event of an emergency. Emergency means any circumstance or situation that causes normal computer operations to become unavailable for use in performing the work required under this Agreement for more than 24 hours.

  • Signaling Parameters All SS7 signaling parameters will be provided in conjunction with traffic exchange trunk groups, where and as available. These parameters include Automatic Number Identification ("ANI"), Calling Party Number ("CPN"), Privacy Indicator, calling party category information, originating line information, charge number, etc. Also included are all parameters relating to network signaling information, such as Carrier Information Parameter ("CIP"), wherever such information is needed for call routing or billing. GTE will provide SS7 via GR-394-SS7 and/or GR-317-SS7 format(s).
