Personal Safety Training. The Employer will provide reasonable access to personal defense training appropriate to the work setting, as determined by the Employees and management in the work unit, in consultation with the Occupational Health & Safety Committee. Employees attending training sessions will do so without loss of pay.

Personal Safety Training. All bargaining unit employees shall receive training in personal safety skills that are necessary for the well-being of the employees when assisting the public. The Joint Health and Safety Committee shall be responsible for developing this training program.
Personal Safety Training. The Employer will encourage Employees to attend personal Safety Training Courses which are made available in the Health Authority. Employees attending such training sessions will do so without loss of pay.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

Do not use floatation devices as a substitute for supervision. Toys can entice young children into the pool area. When not in use, clear the pool area of all toys.
