Personal Preference Days. During the month of November in the preceding calendar year, employees may submit requests for alternative holidays to those specified to be celebrated within the calendar year, which shall be dates of personal preference such as religious holidays, employee’s birthday, employee anniversary or like days of celebration provided:
Personal Preference Days. All full-time employees who have completed the probationary period are entitled to three (3) paid days of leave in their first year of employment and four (4) days during each subsequent year. All part- time employees who have completed the probationary period are entitled to pro-rated days of full-time entitlement. These days will be used for the observance of a religious holiday or otherwise at the discretion of the employee. Such days shall not be cumulative from year to year, and any unused days will not be paid out upon termination. It is understood that personal preference days shall be taken when mutually agreed by the employee and their Manager.

  • Leave Allowed Before Due Date 7.1.10(a) An employer may allow an employee to take annual leave either wholly or partly in advance before the leave becomes due. Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.

  • Holiday allowance A full-time Pharmacist who does not work on a holiday shall be paid eight (8) hours holiday allowance. A part-time Pharmacist shall receive holiday allowance as provided in Section D, below.
