Personal Phone Calls. Whether using a City owned land line or cellular phone: • Personal telephone calls should not interfere with the employee’s duties and/or productivity, as well as that of co-workers; • Phone calls of a personal nature should be limited in frequency and duration to the greatest extent possible during hours of employment, including both incoming and outgoing calls.

Personal Phone Calls. All nursing staff are permitted to make personal phone calls on medical lines during their hours of duty. This is permitted to check up on family responsibilities. Personal phone calls should be kept brief (fifteen minutes or less) so medical lines are not tied up.
Personal Phone Calls. 6.1 The employee accepts that they may only make personal calls during assignments when absolutely essential, with the permission of the client, and the employee will reimburse any costs incurred to the Client.

  • Phone Calls Time spent on work-related employer initiated and subsequent employee initiated telephone calls during the employee’s non-work time of over ten (10) minutes per day will be considered time worked and will be deducted from standby pay. The employee shall receive a minimum of one (1) hour compensation at their regular, non-overtime hourly rate of pay for each non-related incident. Employees are not required to answer the phone or respond to work related messages during their non-work time, unless they are on stand-by status.

  • Personal Vehicles A. Employees who are directed by the Employer to use a personal vehicle for official state business shall do so in accordance with state fleet policies established by the Department of Budget and Management. When circumstances make it impractical for an employee to obtain a state vehicle on the day the vehicle will be used, such employee may request the vehicle at the end of the prior day’s shift, and the appointing authority shall make reasonable accommodation, consistent with the efficient operation of the unit, to accommodate such request. If such request cannot be granted, the employee may use his/her own vehicle and be reimbursed at the full rate in accordance with state fleet policies.

  • Telephone Access Employees shall be entitled to reasonable use of the client's telephone for local calls during the evening to speak with family members (i.e., spouse, children, dependants, parents). Employees may not receive personal calls on the client's telephone nor give out the client's telephone number. In the case of urgent personal calls to the employee, messages will be taken by the Employer and passed on to the employee as soon as possible. In the event of an emergency, the employee shall use the client's telephone to contact the appropriate authorities or the contact person designated by the Employer.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.

  • Personal Illness Employees may use accumulated sick leave for hours off due to personal illness. The employee may be required to furnish a medical certificate from a qualified physician as evidence of illness or physical disability in order to qualify for paid sick leave as per District practice. Accumulated sick leave may also be granted for such time as is actually necessary for office visits to a doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc.

  • Personal Items In accordance with Departmental policy, employees will be reimbursed for personal items required on the job that are lost, damaged or destroyed in the line of duty. Reimbursement will be up to an amount of $100 per occurrence, excluding prescription eyewear.

  • Personal Belongings Tenant agrees not to leave any personal belongings (including lawn furniture) in the parking areas, common halls, sidewalks, lawn areas or other common areas of the apartment community.
