Personal or Sick Leave. Employees shall be entitled to four calendar days of paid leave per academic year. Accrued but unused leave shall be cashed out at the end of the academic year and included in the June paycheck as specified in the following table. Those dance musicians who work only fall semester may request the cash out in the January paycheck. Musicians who are scheduled to work one semester only shall be entitled to two calendar days of paid leave. The employee will assist in finding a suitable substitute dance musician. Four days unused leave is paid at 2.50% of total hours worked in the academic year Three days unused leave is paid at 1.90% of total hours worked in the academic year Two days unused leave is paid at 1.25% of total hours worked in the academic year One day unused leave is paid at .625% of total hours worked in the academic year

Personal or Sick Leave. 25.1 Under this Agreement, Xxxx Leave will accrue on the basis of 10 days per annum, that is, after the end of a year of employment, a maximum of 76 hours sick leave has accrued for a full time Employee. Pro rata leave shall accrue proportionately for part timers.
Personal or Sick Leave. (1) During the calendar year 2013, each classified Employee with one year or more of classified service with the Employer shall become eligible for Personal or Sick Leave, at his regular rate for any six (6) working days on which the Employee is absent from work for reasons of sickness, accident, emergency, or personal business. Employees with accrued and unused Personal or Sick Leave Days as of July 1, 2013 can designate for use during the last six months of 2013 their unused days in accordance with the provisions of Article XIV Section (a). The balance of Personal or Sick Leave Days accrued and unused (including any unused days carried over from the prior year), if any, will be paid as soon as practicable after the Effective Date, but no later than August 31, 2013. During the calendar years 2014 and 2015, each classified Employee with one year or more of classified service with the Employer shall become eligible for Personal or Sick Leave, at his regular rate, for any three (3) working days on which the Employee is absent from work for reasons of sickness, accident, emergency, or personal business. During the calendar year 2016, each classified Employee with one year or more of classified service with the Employer shall become eligible for Personal or Sick Leave, at his regular rate, for any four (4) working days on which the Employee is absent from work for reasons of sickness, accident, emergency or personal business. During the calendar years 2017 and 2018, each classified Employee with one year or more of classified service with the Employer shall become eligible for Personal or Sick Leave, at his regular rate, for any five (5) working days on which the Employee is absent from work for reasons of sickness, accident, emergency or personal business. During the calendar years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, each eligible Employee may elect to designate two (2) of the Employee’s available Graduated Vacation Days as specified in Article XIV Section (a) to be treated as Personal or Sick Leave days.

  • Sick Leave/Personal Leave 1. Each member of the bargaining unit who is regular full-time, in an active pay status, is eligible for ten (10) days of sick leave and three (3) days of personal leave annually. No member of the bargaining unit shall lose the accumulated allowance of unused days of sick leave/personal leave by reason of having been absent for a period without pay, nor shall the employee accumulate any additional days of allowance during the absence. Faculty members needing to use sick/personal days shall fill out the requisite forms according to official College procedures.

  • Unpaid Personal Leave of Absence 1. Any employee may apply for an unpaid personal leave of absence for good and sufficient reason. Leave pursuant to this provision may be for a period not exceeding twelve (12) months in any fourteen (14) consecutive months. Such leave may be granted at the discretion of the appointing authority and shall not be unreasonably denied. Employees are encouraged to consult with their agency/department Personnel Officer to determine if they are eligible for benefits available under the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act. All requests for such leave and responses shall be in writing. The application for leave must specifically state the reasons for such application and the length of time requested. After completion of a period of personal leave of absence, the employee shall be entitled to return to the organizational unit, status and position held immediately prior to the beginning of the leave of absence. If the employee's position is abolished during any such leave, he/she shall be notified and allowed to exercise his/her rights under the Seniority Article of this Agreement.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home.   • Personal Leaves 8.11.4.1 As approved by the Board, personal leaves without pay may be granted in cases of exceptional need for up to six (6) months.
