PERSONAL LOSS. 51.01 Subject to Clauses 51.02, where an employee in the performance of his duty suffers any personal loss, and where such loss was not due to the employee's negligence, the Employer may compensate the employee for any loss suffered, subject to a maximum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).

PERSONAL LOSS. The District will reimburse administrators for items of clothing or other personal property which are damaged or destroyed when, in the course of employment, the administrator becomes involved or engaged in situations which are unusual and/or do not regularly or normally occur, such as altercations between students and/or administrators, non-aggravated assault, fire, riot, etc. Such reimbursement shall not be made in cases where the administrator has been careless or negligent, and/or has not exercised prudent judgment by wearing or otherwise displaying or possessing items which are not normally worn, used, or displayed during such course of employment, or the administrator is able to be otherwise reimbursed as a result of his/her existing insurance coverage. In no instance, however, shall such reimbursement exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) with regard to any claim which is processed under this Section. The District shall not be liable for the reimbursement required by this Paragraph if the administrator refuses or fails to file the necessary reports and institute the necessary proceedings to facilitate the police and District investigations and prosecutions for such incidents.
PERSONAL LOSS. The parties agree that licensed educators should minimize the amount of personal property they store in their assigned work-space. However, the District agrees to reimburse teachers who suffer personal loss as a result of personal property lost or damaged by theft, fire, or vandalism not covered by personal insurance. Licensed employees must biannually, once at the beginning of the school year and once at the conclusion of the school year, provide a personal property inventory list to their supervisor which includes an item description, replacement value of the item and educational purpose. Having a complete personal property inventory list on file with the supervisor will be a precondition to submitting a claim. The maximum liability of the District per item is $250. The maximum liability regarding a cash loss is $50. Automobile damage will be excluded for reimbursement.
PERSONAL LOSS. 42.01 (a) Where a police officer in the performance of the police officer’s duty, suffers any personal loss, and where such loss was not due to the police officer's negligence, the Employer will compensate the police officer the cost of replacement of such a loss to a maximum of three hundred dollars ($300.00).

PERSONAL LOSS. 29.01 Subject to Clause 29.02, where a Ferry Captain in the performance of their duties suffers any personal loss, where such loss was not due to the employee’s negligence, the Employer may compensate the employee for any loss suffered, subject to a maximum of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750), subject to the approval of the Permanent Head and the provision of replacement item receipts. This provision shall only apply in respect of personal effects which the Ferry Captain would reasonably have in their possession during the normal performance of their duties.
PERSONAL LOSS a) Subject to (b) and (c), where an employee in the performance of his/her duty suffers any personal loss and where such loss was not due to the employee's negligence, the Employer may compensate the employee for any loss suffered subject to a maximum of four hundred dollars ($400).
PERSONAL LOSS. The Board shall indemnify employees against any loss, resulting from the damage, destruction or theft of personal property required and previously approved for the performance of the employee's duty, provided the loss is not due to negligence, as determined by the building principal. No loss shall be considered unless the employee's personal property is insured in which case the loss shall be limited to actual loss after any personal insurance payments are applied for and made up to a maximum of five-hundred ($500.00) dollars. Under no conditions will the Board be responsible for more than five-hundred ($500.00) dollars in total losses on a single case. Requests for payment under this provision shall be made in accordance with Business Office procedures.
