Common use of PERSONAL INJURY BENEFITS Clause in Contracts

PERSONAL INJURY BENEFITS. A. Whenever a teacher is absent from school as a result of personal injury caused by an accident or assault occurring in the course of his employment, he/she may use the accumulated sick leave he/she has to his credit. A teacher may take such of this accumulated sick leave as, when added to the amount of any workers compensation disability allowance actually received, will result in the payment to him/her of his full salary.

PERSONAL INJURY BENEFITS. A. A teacher may take such of this accumulated sick leave as, when added to shall be paid full salary (less the amount of any workers worker’s compensation award made for temporary disability allowance actually receiveddue to said injury) for the period of such absence, will result in the payment and no part of such absence shall be charged to him/her of his full salaryannual or accumulated sick leave.

Whenever a teacher is absent from school as a result of personal an assault and injury caused by an accident a student, or a suspended or expelled student, or a parent, such assault occurring in at school functions or on the course of his employmentschool premises, he/she may use will be paid his/her full salary for the period of such absence, and no part of such absence will be charged to his/her annual or accumulated sick leave he/she has leave, provided the teacher’s absence is not a result of wrongful conduct on the teacher’s part, and subject to his credit. A teacher may take such of this accumulated sick leave asparagraph D., when added to the amount of any workers compensation disability allowance actually received, will result in the payment to him/her of his full salarybelow.
