PERSONAL INJURY BENEFITS. Paragraph 1: Worker’s Compensation The Board shall provide Kansas Worker’s Compensation benefits for all teachers. If a teacher has a compensable worker’s compensation claim, the teacher will be 29 paid at 100% for the period of time that temporary leave is available. A teacher may choose to save up to five (5) accumulated temporary leave days. Once tem- porary leave is exhausted, compensation will be reduced to 70% up to a maximum of 180 total calendar days from the date of disability.
