Personal and Family Responsibility Leave. A permanent or probationary employee is entitled to up to five (5) days of leave in a calendar year, but only to the extent that the leave is necessary:

Personal and Family Responsibility Leave. Two (2) Personal Leave Days with pay are provided by the Employer to cover absences due to family responsibilities including caring for the illness of family members, including attending appointments with family member or other personal or domestic maters (not including bereavement). An additional three (3) Personal Leave Days without pay may be granted upon request. An Employee may be required to submit satisfactory proof to the Employer demonstrating the need for Personal Leave.
