Common use of Permanency Clause in Contracts

Permanency. The CSA requires that DHS establish performance targets for achieving permanency for children and to do so in a timely manner (CSA Section 2.10). DHS and the Co-Neutrals agreed that permanency for children will be defined as reunification, adoption or guardianship and established a suite of metrics to assess DHS’ progress in moving children to permanency.
