Period of Exchange. Each exchange is for 1 academic year or 1 academic semester. At the end of the academic exchange students may secure employment providing they meet the legal criteria of the host country.

Period of Exchange. Normally, the duration of an exchange period shall be 4-5 months, i.e. one semester. Individual students may be continued as designated exchange students for one ensuing period of exchange.
Period of Exchange. For the purpose of this agreement the number of students to be exchanged between XXX and DU shall be scheduled in the following manner: Academic Year 20YY-20YY: 1 student sent from DU; 1 year-long or equivalent from XXX Academic Year 20YY-20YY: 1 student sent from DU; 1 year-long or equivalent from XXX Academic Year 20YY-20YY: balancing year or, if in balance, 1 student sent from DU; 1 year-long or equivalent from XXX The equivalent of one academic year-long student from each institution (see Article III) will be exchanged each year over each two year period. If an exchange imbalance exists at the end of a two-year period, the imbalance shall be resolved as follows:
Period of Exchange. The exchange period will not exceed one academic year per student. Participating students must return to their home university for the semester immediately subsequent to the exchange.
Period of Exchange. (1) The academic year at the University of Vienna consists of two (2) semesters. Courses are held from early October to the end of January (winter semester), and from early March to the end of June (summer semester).

  • Period of Employment The “Period of Employment” shall be a period of three (3) years commencing on the Effective Date and ending at the close of business on the third anniversary of the Effective Date (the “Termination Date”); provided, however, that this Agreement shall be automatically renewed, and the Period of Employment shall be automatically extended for one (1) additional year on the Termination Date and each anniversary of the Termination Date thereafter, unless either party gives written notice at least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the Period of Employment (including any renewal thereof) of such party’s desire to terminate the Period of Employment (such notice to be delivered in accordance with Section 18). The term “Period of Employment” shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Normal Workday The normal workday shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours of work within a twenty-four (24) hour period.

  • Workday and Workweek The District and the Association recognize the principle of an eight (8) hour unit member workday, and a forty (40) hour workweek for persons employed on a full-time basis during the regular school year.

  • Period of Enrolment 6.1 The enrolment of the student, once approved by the Principal of the School, commences in the Entry Year and continues until the completion of last year at the School or until the Student's enrolment is otherwise withdrawn or terminated.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours The Employer and the Union recognize that union representatives and stewards play an important role in effectuating the terms of this Agreement; however, both parties acknowledge that the duties undertaken as a union representative or xxxxxxx are in addition to the their job assignments. The Union shall notify the Department of Budget and Management in writing of the names of designated stewards and union representatives prior to them assuming any duties. Consistent with the operational needs of the Employer, the Employer shall grant time off with pay for designated stewards and union representatives, including reasonable travel time when necessary, to attend:

  • Normal Working Hours Prevailing Wage Rate Projects: Work performed from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00

  • Employment Term The term of employment under this Agreement (the “Term”) shall commence on the Effective Date and end on the third anniversary of the Effective Date, subject to earlier termination as provided in Section 3 below. The Term shall automatically renew for additional twelve (12) month periods unless no later than ninety (90) days prior to the end of the applicable Term either Party gives written notice of non-renewal (“Notice of Non-Renewal”) to the other, in which case Executive’s employment will terminate at the end of the then-applicable Term, subject to earlier termination as provided in Section 3 below.

  • Term of Employment The Executive’s employment under this Agreement will commence on the date hereof and will continue for a period of one (1) year thereafter, subject to earlier termination as provided in Section 8 (the “Term”). This Agreement and the Term will be automatically renewed and extended for periods of one (1) year unless the Company or the Executive provides written notice no less than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the then-current Term of its or the Executive’s desire not to renew this Agreement.
