Per Minn. Stat. § 471.345, grantees that are municipalities as defined in Subd. 1 of this statute must follow the Uniform Municipal Contracting Law. Supporting documentation of the bidding process utilized to contract services must be included in the Grantee’s financial records, including support documentation justifying a single/sole source bid, if applicable.
Per Minn. Stat. § 326B.701, unless exempt, any person, as defined by Minn. Stat. § 181.723, subd. 1(a), who performs public or private construction services must register with the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Registration is required prior to receiving a contract award.
Per Minn. Stat. §471.345, grantees that are Municipalities as defined in Subd. 1 must follow the law.
Per Minn. Stat.§16B.98 Subd. 7, no payments will be made to the Sub-grantee until this grant contract is fully executed. The Sub-grantee must not begin work under this grant contract until this contract is fully executed and the Sub-grantee has been notified by the State’s Authorized Representative to begin the work.
