Penalty Rates. 24.2.1 The following do not apply to Locomotive Running Employees or Train Controllers: • Any time worked on Saturday: Time and a half • Any time worked on Sunday: Double time • Any time worked between 2000 -0600 hours Monday to Friday Time and a quarter
Penalty Rates. An employee required to work ordinary hours on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will be paid a penalty in addition to your ordinary rate as follows: Saturday - a penalty rate of 50% of the ordinary hourly rate for ordinary hours worked; Sunday - a penalty rate of 100% of the ordinary hourly rate for ordinary hours worked; Public holiday - a penalty rate of 200% of the ordinary hourly rate for ordinary hours worked (public holiday means a shift with the major portion on a public holiday. The penalty will be paid for all ordinary hours on the shift. Where a public holiday includes a part of two successive shifts, the one with the greatest number of hours on the public holiday will be considered the public holiday shift); and Casuals will be paid penalty rates calculated on the ordinary hourly rate exclusive of the casual loading.
Penalty Rates. 22.1 Permanent Employees (other than casuals) shall be paid at the rate of time and a- quarter for all ordinary hours of work on a Saturday and/or Sunday.

Penalty Rates. 25.1 Penalty rates and loadings for casual, flexible part time, regular part time and full time employees may be included in the calculation of the flat hourly pay rate. .
Penalty Rates. (a) This clause sets out penalty rates for ordinary hours worked at specified times or on specified days (this does not include overtime).
Penalty Rates. Hours worked outside the ordinary span of hours shall be by mutual agreement between the employee and employer. This time shall be paid at the appropriate penalty rate or be taken as time off in lieu multiplied by the appropriate penalty rate to be taken at a time mutually agreed between the employee and their respective manager. Employees who as part of their normal hours of duty perform work on Monday to Friday outside of the span of hours set out in Clause 4.1 shall receive a loading of 15% in addition to their ordinary time rate of pay for all time worked outside of those hours. Employees who as part of their normal hours of duty perform work on Saturdays shall receive a loading of 50% in addition to their ordinary time rate of pay. Employees who as part of their normal hours of duty perform work on Sundays shall receive a loading of 100% in addition to their ordinary time rate of pay.
Penalty Rates. 10.6.1 No higher rate of pay or loading applies to any work performed on Saturdays or Sundays.

Penalty Rates. (i) Employees working afternoon or night shift shall be paid the following percentages in addition to the ordinary rate for such shift: Provided that employees who work less than 38 hours per week shall only be entitled to the additional rates where their shifts commence prior to 6am or finish subsequent to 6pm. Afternoon shift commencing at or after 10.00am and before 1.00pm - 10% Afternoon shift commencing at or after 1.00pm and before 4.00pm - 12½% Night shift commencing at 4.00pm and before 4.00am - 15% Night shift commencing at 4.00am and before 6.00am - 10%
