PEAHR Audit Process. BHP Billiton Iron Ore Heritage and GIS team undertake PEAHR Heritage Audits to ensure that Project Owners are complying with the heritage management conditions associated with individual PEAHRS. The audits comprise a desktop and field site visit stage. The desktop stage involves the compilation of data relating to the PEAHR. The data is used in the field component where members of the BHP Billiton Iron Ore CHMP Heritage and GIS team conduct an infield inspection of the PEAHR area to ensure that all heritage related conditions have been met. Following the completion of the audit the PEAHR project owner is provided with the results of the audit and specifically whether the PEAHR is compliant/not compliant.
