Payment of Unused Sick Time. At the time of voluntary resignation, retirement (PERA eligible to draw pension), disability, or death, both part and full-time employees are entitled to payment of unused sick leave at the rate of 100% of straight pay at the current level of compensation up to a maximum of 400 hours. Upon death of an employee the same pay rate will be payable to the employee’s estate or designated beneficiary. Retirement for the purposes of this benefit only shall mean separation from Metro Bus of an employee eligible to receive PERA retirement or disability payment. After a full-time employee or part-time employee accumulates respectively a total of one hundred fifty (150) or seventy five (75) days of sick leave, the employee shall be paid each year for 50% of all unused sick leave earned that year (maximum of 6 days or 3 days respectively), the amount of such payment to be paid on the pay period in which the employee’s anniversary date falls.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

  • Pay for Unused Sick Leave Unused sick leave not to exceed 70 days will be paid at the rate of $50 per day when the teacher retires or leaves U.S.D. 506 employment, provided the teacher has a minimum of 10 years of service in U.S.D. 506. Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

The City and the Union commit to the evaluation and establishment of a mutually beneficial non-use of sick leave incentive and pay-out policy.   • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Monday to Friday inclusive Where a ten (10) hour normal work day is being worked, the hours of work shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday inclusive. The 4 x 10 hour day work week shall apply only when the week is scheduled for a minimum of 40 hours (4 days @ 10 hour/day) except where the week has a holiday.
