Payment of Salary and Adjustments. The Board shall pay the annual salary in twelve (12) equal installments on or before the regular paydays established by the board or its successor. Salary payments are subject to state and federal withholding required by law, including without limitation, retirement contributions, FICA, FUTA, Medicare, and state or federal unemployment contributions.

Payment of Salary and Adjustments. In consideration of the annual gross salary to be paid in the first year, and to be negotiated later for the second year, and of further agreements and considerations hereinafter stated, the Superintendent agrees to perform faithfully duties of the Superintendent of Schools in and for the District as prescribed by the laws of the State of Nebraska and by the rules and regulations promulgated by the Board thereunder. Annual net salary shall be paid in equal installments in accordance with the policy of the Board governing payment of the professional staff employees of the District. The Superintendent’s salary shall not be reduced during the term of this Contract except for just and sufficient cause as authorized by law.

All paid leave is subject to the following: Leave Year: The leave year is the Superintendent's contract of July 1through June 30 of each year that this contract is in effect.

The school district shall withhold other deductions as the Superintendent and Board may agree.
